Hey y'all!
Sooo....drum roll....
dun dun dun.... my new comps Sister Hamblin!!! She's pretty great, takes after me already ;) haha jk.... shed be a poor child if that were the case. But its great!!!!
She's from West Jordan, Utah.....another utan...whats new there ;)
and she hasn't had any homesickness. YAY! God answered my prayer on that one....or i'm just weird and she has no time to think about home.... that's what she told me haha ohhhh....im just hilarious! jk....but seriously!
So its been easier than I thought, she's getting use to teaching but still quiet in lessons. OH! Speaking of which!
Lemme just tell ya a lil some-n-some-n!
So on Tuesday, day before tansfers, our AP's called and asked if Sister Tuck and I could go our with the new sisters procelyting for their first time. Sweet!! So off we go...didn't know who was my comp then, but it was fun to see all of them and guess...I guessed wrong. BUT! We went out with three girls out on Grapevine Main street and split up. Sister Tuck took one, and I took 2. And of course we just HAD to talk to a total basher who was saying Joseph Smith was a murderer and how we are following a liar and we should rethink everything that we know and allllllllllllllllllll this crap shinanigans! So here are these poor new sisters just looking at me cuz they didn't know what to say. So I had to just smack this guy in the face spiritually, haha jk...I wished...but had to nicely tell him that we wanted his relationship with God to strengthen and that was it, so if he wasn't interested then that was fine...killing him with kindness. I could tell he was mad about that. TAKE THAT! But then we walked away and they were like "I CANT DO THIS!!!!!!" Haha it was hilarious! No worries, they're still here :p
Tangent. Sorry. But Sister Hamblin is great! We get along really well and she looks like Julia Styles.... yeah!
So sister Tuck left on Wednesday and I was freaaaaakkkkking out!! Even when President Ames told me to come up he was like ".....sister Tilton here is in family ward....well...this has been quite a change for her....(referring to me being in YSA)...but she's going to do great!" oh gee...even he knows! :p haha Sope! I got my compy and we left...and I watched all the missionaries going home leave too...2 people Im going to miss! Sister Rhoades(my grandma)....and ELDER MUHLESTEIN!!!!!!!! (see pics) all my favs are leaving!!!
We've been doing great this week though, visiting lots of people and finally were able to figure out Karina's concern for not wanting to get baptized now and that's cuz of Kayla her sister. We met with Karina by herself and she told us that she just wants Kayla to get baptized but shes afraid that if she gets baptized that Kayla will stop taking the lessons. I knew it!! So theres a tad small...just kidding...HUGE dilemma!
Well for a fun fact of Easter! EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG gave us easter baskets! No worries, the ward just LOVES us and wants us to be fat or somesing! Someone in our ward, who is also a famous photographer for the church actually, he did reflections on Christ...don't worry, ig ot his autograph on one of his Christ pics :D....Mark Mabry...anywho, his son showed us this mime thing and it was a picture of Jesus and it said "Dude, chill out mom, i'll be back in 3 days tops!" I. About. Died!!!! I thought it was flippin' hilarious and totally sacrilegious! But I just thought id share :p
Oh for my birthday! I forgot about it haha totally another day... but thanks Cara for the earings! :) And the ward...theyre so sweet!!! So there was a few ladies, Sister Park, Baccarini, Wahlin, Sorenson, and Sister Todd that gave me something! So sweet of them, nail polish, rangers shirt, a homemade blanket, magnet quote, and scrapbooking paper! They're all so sweet! I love this ward! They love their missionaries!

OHHH!!!! FUNNY STORY rrrrreal quick! So for Good Friday...EVERYTHING IS CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!! And I mean everything!! That is a very celebrated holiday here....even school is out! Weirdest thing...welcome to the bible belt! BUT! Heres the funny thing...everythings open on Easter day....ummmmm what?! Its kinda weird that the world totally celebrates the Death of Christ...but not His resurrection...slightly off there people... Gosh! The church is just true! :')
I'm so thankful for my Savior. He lives. And its awesome!! And I just wish everyone could feel the joy that I feel living the gospel AND sharing it! Priceless!
