Let me tell you....Its different!!!!!
So I really miss Arlington, I never thought I would this much...I think its more that I miss teaching YSA people...that was my life entirely as a missionary...it was like being raised it Arizona heat and never feeling cold and then BAM! Im in Antarctica. No joke!! It was hard saying bye to everyone that I grew so close to and I miss them mucho! But God has a new plan for me. I just have to accept it!
Don't worry guys, I just cover West Lake, TX which is the richest part in the US. Here I was hoping that leaving Arlington, I would get an easier area. Nope. Wrongo Shayla! Ahh! But oh well... and no big deal. Glen Beck is just in my ward....booyaa! Its weird...he has body guards at church. Whaa?? Ya crazy! We had dinner with a member that had to call us in and the gate guy had to check my drivers licence and everything...rich probs..
My companion is sister Tuck and she's super cute and nice, and reallllyyyy quiet!!!! Seriously. I need to break her down man cuz Im going insane. Its always so quiet!!! I definitely miss Sister Fielding for that reason! But its ok, im loving it! :) Sister Tuck is from Utah...the usual. and shes been out 9 months. Both on the slope! Shes senior comp though which is really nice cuz I like being jr comp and I have no clue what im doing here...I feel like a new missionary again...don't know how to teach! :p
We have some investigators, all youth though, two are albino. yeahh..weird! But they're super cute! And two Latinas, theyre cute too! But its so weird! Im teaching little grimmlets and old people! theres a lot of old people!!! Don't worry, they just sit outside in their rocking chairs without shirts on. Talk about eyes being scarred.
Old people are so stubborn!!! Theyre so set in their ways, its annoying!! But I guess Im just gona have to figure out a way to talk to them...its so hard :/ I miss YSA.... NEW LIFE!:)
We live at a members house which is super weird! But don't worry mom, Sister Todd is a Richardson and has a family history book and she has a picture of you. What in the world?! It was the weirdest thing!!!!!! Gosh...God has a sense of humor! They have a dog, Zina, that smells so bad cuz shes old...shes bald on her head....what kind of dog BALDS???!!! Its weird....and gross haha Ohh man!
