Mission scripture

"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever." Alma 26:12

wuddup my peeps!

Im running out of subject titles...haha
Heyy everyone!!
First, Happy Anniversary(late) mom and dad!! :)
This week has been crayyyy crayyy and super fun/nny and I just love my mission! :)
So for starters, Sister Ewing and I are having a blast! We always think the same things at the same time and its sometimes scary...I think she may have mindreading skills...but the FUNNIEST thing happened this week!!! Soooo we all go to the institute building for workout in the morning and we meet the zone leaders and some other elders and work out or play fooseball...whatever we're feeling like doing haha im getting fat >:) not really! Oh by the way, when I get back from the mish, imma beat alllll you at fooseball! I'm pretty pro now ;) bring it! But anyways, Sister Ewing....she be trippin'..literally!! Haha so we were leaving and we said bye to the elders and Sister Ewing ran to catch up with me and totally biffed it. LITERALLY!!! I turned back and she was on the ground, but jumped straight up sooo fast, making sure no one saw it but I totally did and so did the elders!! I'm dying laughing right now...it's just still tooo funny!!! Man, I almost died! She ripped her pants and cut her knee too..totally has a battlewound there. Ahh man!! She was an embarrassed little creature :p
We also had a greattttttt weekend with school beginning to start up....the bars....gotta love 'em! NOT!! We barely got ANY sleep allllll weekend and better yet, we got a new neighbor who loves to listen to his music nice and loud and we can literally hear every word...nice rap music all around! We kept telling ourselves that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves....oh I never knew that could be that hard! But, really weird, one morning he watched the Prince of Egypt...whaa?? But he loves watching horror movies at 2 in the morning. So one night at 1:30am I decided to meet our amazing neighbor...yep! I jumped out of bed and told Sister Ewing and she was like "ARE YOU SERIOUS??" Yess I was! I stomped right on down and out the door. Banged on his door and when he came out he was introducing himself and telling me all this stuff...uh dude, Im half asleep right now and not very happy! But I nicely told him we were sleeping and he needed to turn it down. I was proud of myself for being so nice, even Sister Ewing was surprised cuz I was nooooot happy!!!!!!!! Later that night someone started yelling at someone outside our door...creepy! Gotta love Denton! :)
I also have come to know why my teaching skills are so exquisite....I now 'sleepteach' rather than talk...and I ALWAYS catch myself! This morning actually I was sitting up baring testimony and Sister Ewing was telling me about what I said. But I caught myself when I said "I know this to be truth" and then out loud called myself an idiot. Haha Sister Ewing got a kick out of that! And she even decided to tell the elders. Oh man I'm just so funny I guess... >:| haha Im getting weird! Now I know that Im in mission mode...
So I'm totally running out of time now but I have to say, our investigator, MART, who is from Thailand, is getting baptized on Sep 1st and he has a friend in Thailand that is mormon and she always texts him about things and we found out that they had dated but broken up BECAUSE of religion hahaha so now they're gona get married in the temple, we've decided this :) hehe anddddddd KRISTEN, she's been investigating since February and is now super ready for baptism. So we had a date for Oct 10th for her but now its Sep 8th :) YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're soooo excited!!! The work is progressing. EVERYWHERE! Stoked as all get out! :)
Love you all!
Sister Tilton :)
