Mission scripture

"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever." Alma 26:12

God answers prayers! :)

SO! This week was crazy awesome! God loves us :)
This week has been quite eventful!

First off, my sleep talking is getting reeeeeeeeeeeaaall bad! Im teaching like crazy! :p But you know what? They always say, that bearing your testimony strengthens your testimony. WELP! I bear it pretty much every night now, so I think my testimony should be pretty ripe and solid by the time I get home ;) jk. But seriously...its awful! I wake myself up though every time. Weird!

Funny things. I totally soaked sister Hamblin while she was drinking her water bottle, I squeezed it, it went all over her, I started laughing and she spit it all over me, including my mouth. Then the gagging began. Gross. Least to say, she wasn't very happy with me...but I thought it was hilarious! Haha ;p
Also, I quoted something from the Sandlot, and she then started talking about "the great Bamboni"... I died! Bambino, bambini, same thing.

Ok well starting off with Mike Medford. He finally and officially gave up his tea, he gave it to us! So funny thing. He has been praying about it being nasty to him, i think i told yall this, but he got his answer! God really does listen and answer! His tea started tasting weird and had no desire to drink it. But being the Mike he is and has never liked wasting things, drank it still because he didn't wana waste it! WHAT?! Haha so we told him our plants would like it. So he got up and gave us the box! Ok. Tea really smells....idk how people actually drink it! They are still great for July 5th! So cool!

So we also have Eiji getting baptized this week and he's super excited for it! He got interviewed and everything, we had him look at the bapt clothes to make sure we had one that fit him. It was hilarious! He wanted to make sure he could wear basketball shorts under them...Kristen (his wife) was so mad at him haha! Ohh young couples ;)

Jackie on the other hand, oh my gosh! She is getting baptized this week as well!! WHAT?!? Yes! Again, God answers prayers! So she wasn't sure about the bapt date and wanted to make sure she was doing it for herself and not for her boyfriend but we had a really good lesson of the reasons for baptism and what she knows now. It all makes sense to her. Funny how that happens! :p But it was awesome! So on Saturday she calls us and was like "I'm feeling good about June 28th!" Say whaaa?? So now we are stressin out about 2 baptisms were having this week on the same day, different times. Gosh! But its so exciting that all these things are happening! AH! :) Its so great! And none of this would be happening without the Lord. This is his work!

As for Jason, we haven't been able to teach him because he's been super busy lately but the Becks are out of town so he has time off! So were hoping to meet with him soon! But he's getting there! His coffee drinking is no more! Which is awesome! :) I love seeing change. It really does make a difference in a person when theyre keeping the commandments. We're so much more happier! :)

So funny story, we went to see some of our less actives, the Bossert to be exact! And they have this square hole in their door to open and look thru, so we decided to put our faces right up to it to scare them. Well. Daryl's mom happened to be in town and she was the one that opened it. Oh my gosh I thought she was going to have a heartattack! It was sooooo funny! Great first impression of us, i know ;) it was nice seeing them since we haven't in a few weeks. But we brought them an Ensign and they were excited! Out of all the things the church has, the Ensign is what they love best! :) Love it too!!!

Ok so this week, for some reason, we've taught a lot about family prayers...and ive had the opportunity to share my wonderful experiences with waking up at 5 in the morning with fire alarms going off and ice water being thrown on me to get everyone in for family scripture study and prayers....as much as i hated it! I really appreciate it! Mom and Dad. Thank you for doing that!  :) I didn't like it, but now i can see how important it was and is. This is what im teaching people. And it's nice to know that it worked and there's a reason we do it! :)

Have fun y'all! Go talk to someone! And go out with the missionaries! :) They're pretty awesome! Trust me ;)
