MAN has this week got to be the most eventful for sista Tilton!!!
One thing I've learned this week : God has a great sense of humor!
Let me tell you why....
So Tuesday night we get home from the day....I decided to feel like a big girl tonight and try to plan tomorrow "allllll by my se-e-eeelf" (the song) and well, I failed! I give Sister Tuck the book and say
"HERE! I give up on this area, you can plan it, I got another transfer with you!"
Sis Tuck "no you don't...im leaving!" joking around!
so she goes at it.
Next day. Studying...
phone rings...Sister Tuck "SISTER TILTON! Its President Ames!!!"
"yeah right, no its not!"
Answers. Its him. "can I speak with Sister Tilton?"
you gotta be kidding me....Im training! Yep that's me! Sista T!
I'm screwed haha so much for jinxing myself!
So weird! Its still hasn't hit me yet! And sister Tuck is going to coppars cove in the ysa ward....so jealous!!!
Anyways! So that was a total not expecting moment! Sister Tuck hasn't even been here for 6 months which is the usuall...so there went that! Im excited though! I went to the training meeting on Thursday and Sister Edwards is training as well and I was soooo excited to see her!! A big reunion!! Gosh I forgot how much I missed her! sooooo many missionaries there too, ahh! I love missionaries!!
Ok so now lets hear a miracle!! Don't worry, we're now teaching GLEN BECK'S BODYGUARD!!! WHAT???!! Yeahh....its pretty awesome! His name's Jason! And no worries either, he's golden and has even met Pres. Packer and Elder Ballard. NO big DEAL! Glen Beck has got some hook ups man... Its crazy!!! So we met with him at our bishops house and he's known it to be true for over 2 years, he was just hoping to get him family going and into it as well but it hasn't worked out for him :/ sad but he has just gotten the biggest prompting that he needs to do this now. So yeah....gold platter and all, polished about 6-7 times, and then some. Totally awesome!! He's praying about at bapt date though so haven't set one yet....but hopefully this week! :)
Oh ok so for some reason...this area has just super nice people and they all just love us and like to give us hugs, guys included. Its kind of weird...wouldn't fly in YSA that is foo sho! But theyre all old men so don't worry on that one! Our Bishop even gives us hugs haha he says its no rule to not hug and that's how people greet each other... guess I'm not going to be as awkward when I get home as I thought :p haha
Oh yeah, its my birthday tomorrow...SO WEIRD!!! 20 here I come! :p
