Mission scripture

"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever." Alma 26:12

New month say what!?

Words cant describe how great it is to be in a new month. I am never riding bikes again. NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Randon freak out. sorry.

So this week was so great! :) First off....guess what?! So far I have lost 7 pounds :D what a happy child I am. And no its not because im not eating anything! Cuz everyone and their dog feeds us. But it feels great! :)

So this week we were able to take the new missionaries out again for their first time tracting ( they just came in last Tuesday, like how I did last transfer with sis hamblins group) and it was sooo fun! Theres an elder that is actually in my district now, hes new, that's from gilbert...went to higley HS...rival...its on with him ;p jk. Well it was fun for both sis Hamblin and Sis wells(who was the greenie'er) to be out. And sis H. felt like the big man cuz she was no longer the 'newest' missionary. :p It was pouring too! I LOVED IT!!! :) Tracting in the rain=best day ever! And its funny too cuz no one will ever let us in :p silly people! Sister Wells had to invite someone to be baptized and the last door we knocked on she was like "wana be baptized??" haha! I love missionary work ;) but we also knocked on someones door....bless their hearts... heres how the convo went:

Old man: 'the sign says no soliciting!'
'oh were not! Were not selling anything!'
'oh yes you are!'
'...umm no were not...'
'yes you are! your selling JESUS!!!!!'

................................................................................pretty sure Jesus is for free...
REally??? oh my gosh! That tots got in my journal! WWho says that?? so funny!! I don't recall any scripture recalling Jesus being on the cross asking for money. But who knows what that guys reading. Gotta love the people in Texas! :) I love Texas!
Life would really be boring without these kinds of people...truly!

So we had an AMAZING lesson with Mike and Mikayla Medford on Sunday. First off, at church Mikayla wanted to bear her testimony so bad but there were too many people going up. BUT she did in YW. How awesome! I think about 5 people told us that were in YW's right after church. It was so strong. We talked with them awhile last night and Mikayla just said that she didn't know what was holding her back but something was. My first thought was, thanks to rissa-roo, her favorite scripture popped in my head, D&C 50:40-42. It brought the spirit so strongly into the room, tears was shed and Mikayla was bawling. Her and Mike both accepted to be baptized on July 5th.
How exciting the gospel is and what truth it brings to our life. There is no possible way that conversion could come besides the spirit. I love it! :)

So many other things that has happened but I don't have enough time to write it all. One thing I can say is that we never know what impact we are making on other people and what it will come to when we talk about the gospel to other people or just live it. No way we'll ever know. We had a youth lesson with some members in our ward and someone else in the ward dropped by to talk about something. It happened to be with this family that has been having some marital problems, and they told them to stay and listen and for us to finish and then they could talk. So we continued to talk about the restoration. Later that night, the wife text us and told us that God answered her prayer through us that day. Who know's what we said, or how we answered it, but it was answered through the spirit. I love experiences like these. The Lord really does love us and will answer prayers.

Share the gospel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Have a good week!! :)
