Mission scripture

"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever." Alma 26:12

Denton, Denton, is the best! WHaaa? (arizona's better though) :)

Heyy everyone!! :)
Okayy so first off, I'm an idiot cuz I didnt even say Happy Birthday to Drew or Tanya last week....Happy Late Birthday!
Soooooo this week was awesome!!!!!!! We had our first baptism, Lio, and it was Ahh-mazing!! It pays off to be a missionary - see the change of heart and watch people enter into a full commitment to the Lord to follow him. What greater thing to see than that?!? We had a combined baptism with the Zone Leaders who are also in the YSA ward for their investigator - now member - Kem. And there were so many people there for the support. It was so cooollllllllio! They were so embarrassed by the jumpsuits though. Poor Lio had a reputation to hold and did not like the ugly jumpsuit haha he hated that. But loved the rest! He also brought us presents on Sunday...it should be us giving him the present...but it was very sweet of him. :) They both received the Gift of the Holy Ghost on Sunday and were confirmed and an addition to that...I had to give a talk AND Sister Taylor and I had to sing a special musical number in sacrament which let me tell yaa....it was Awful! And when I mean awful, I mean it!! Sister Taylor is sick and she could barely sing and I had to do high harmonizing which I didn't warm up too well. Sister Taylor's own words "we sounded like dead cats" hahaha Ahhh...its a good thing we're missionaries and already awkward and dont have to worry about embarrassment. :p everyone told us it was good though. Even this one girl who came up and practically cut off the circulation of our arms cuz she was grabbing on so tightly and told us we were AMAZING!!! And then we had a fireside that night and she sang and Sister Taylor turned to me and told me she probably only said that out of pity hahaha ohhhh mannn..its true! :p
Speaking of Sister Taylor being sick, she is veryyy open and honest for some reason when she's sick. She told one of our investigators that his cologne smelt disgusting and like a grandpa...such a sweetheart! Haha! She is being transferred  most likely, on the 7th so I will definitely miss her! :(

So Cara...keep away from my clothes!!! Dad sent me a picture of you with them...your gona get it when I get home so im giving you a 15 month notice ;p haha but seriously! And hope you liked my present! :) And!!! So there's this RM that just got back, Stetson, and he's giving us referrals like crazyy (yeahh man) and we had dinner at his family's house and they lived in mesa..better yet..they knew the Jenkins!!! The Smith Family. Remember them Jenkins?? I forgot their first names but they were talking about how there was a Jenkins that was a dentist and his wife is amazing at photography....at that moment I knew! Haha! So crazy!! So Stetson is giving us all his friends and they're all girls so now we're finally getting some girl investigators. YES!! One, Emily, is reading the BOM fervently and it's awesome!! :) We have a baptismal date for her for August 10th. We have another baptism on saturday Aug. 3rd for Robert. And we're sooooo excited!!! He's getting excited! SO are weeee!!

I never wana leaveeeeeeeee!! It's just so awesome that I get to see the gospel change peoples lives! I dont know how people could go on with their lives without going on a mission. It's insane. And the people here are so awesome especially the YSA's. But Fairview's still and always will be better :) Oh we went to dinner with one of the members, Beth, and we rode to the fireside with her and her dad came along, and we were talking an such and I said "you guys" and Beth looked at her dad and was like, "Dad, you see something wrong with this? 'you guys'? 'Y'all'' soooo now I'm being made fun of for not saying Y'all. haha Sweetttt >:) my Texan accent is nowhere in sight. I'm proud! :)

I loved all the pics that everyone drew for me! Thankss all my little nieces and nephews :) Except there was none from Bryson or Drew...I'll cut Drew some slack but Bryson?? Come onn buddy!! But thankss for all the letters, I will try to keep up with them. I sent my first official letter to Larissa and hopefully no one steals it in the mail cuz it's thick with pics...but I left a espanol message to the stealer if it gets stolen :p hehe

Love you all! Keep up the missionary work wherever you are! :)
