But anyways, How's everyone doing?! And Im glad to know I'm entertaining hehe I dont want to be a boring writer :p and I havent gotten anything from Larissa!!! IS SHE STILL ALIVE?? :O haha jk but really! Well your prayers are being answered...theres not a single cloud in sight! Whaaa...thats not fun for me! One thing that is said multiple times to us missionaries, and I mean ALL THE TIME, is to look professional and to look my best because I'm representing the Lord...but how can this be accomplished when I'm gross and sweaty from this darn humidity and heat?! Im.Poss.I.Ble! Literally! Like theres no need to do my hair cuz I look like a crazy bird lady at the end of the day!:P ok not that bad hehe
This week we got 5 new investigators!! Ekkk :D But they are all guys... -.-
Sooo now every time we teach them someone has to come with us and it's annoying cuz we have to keep asking girls in the ward to come with us and we feel bad. But so far it's worked out. A couple guys were teaching only want information to strengthen their faith but dont want to join any religion..lets change this shall we? >:) Challenge accepted! We taught this other guy Tom and he's Buddhist but very interested! My companion hates shaking his hand cuz they're small...interesting fact about her- she doesnt like small hands, they disgust her haha :p she's so weird! We have so much fun together! Most of the time we talk to each other in different accents, usually never regular...and we've noticed that our humor is getting more and more bad cuz we're missionaries and dont often hear things that are actually funny...so we laugh at basically everything! This week we got so desperate for food we had to actually ask someone to feed us cuz we had none. Perks of being a missionary - we can beg for food and not feel guilty :D On sunday we actually had a guy bare his testimony on feeding the missionaries and told everyone to do so cuz they get blessings...we like him! :) haha! We have so many weird questions asked to us...its crazyyy...like sometimes I wonder if people actually have brains cuz they're a bit on the weird side! Oh so we REALLLLYYY love living next to 3 bars!! Not really! So interesting thing, friday night we were up ALL night cuz everyone was having a blast!! Literally!! We heard people yelling, girls screaming, cops arriving, and people all night....I think we wanted to kill someone that night! So annoying!! And then saturday when we went out NO one was anywhere to be found...that day was a long one! But we still find stuff to do! This week I got the first door slammed in my face. Joy! But I calmly told them I'd see them on judgement day :) Just kidding!! Seriously though, I wish I could have everyone see the light! It's so awesome to be out here and so close to the Lord. I love teaching people and seeing them actually get it! :) I dont. wana. leave! And me and Sister Taylor already agreed that we would never get married...so why not just stay on our missions right?! :D No fantastic experiences yet but they are to come soon! We're hoping for a baptism for this girl Kristen but she hasnt ever made a big decision before so this could take some time. But we are hoping and praying everything goes well! If not, it'll be made right in the next life :) Love you all so much! And if you want me to answer questions to everything you ask please hand write me cuz I dont have much time on the computers! WRITE ME! We like seeing mail in the mailbox :)
