Nbd....my parents are just having the life in Bolivia and Peru! ...lamo's!!!!
But life is prettyyyyy great here in good ol' Texas! Livin' the one and only life that brings the greatest happiness and hair loss...oops..did I just say that?...
So just for starters I LOVE THE SPIRIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zone Conference was this week and I think I about died...or I could've just ascended up to heaven...either way would've been good for me! :)
I received so much inspiration, its not even funny! I love it! I think I've gotten the most revelation to repent this week than I've ever have my whole life! Repentance is great, that means we are recognizing the wrong that we do, changing it, and become more like Christ. Our new goal is to not talk about home life with members, investigators...anyone!! Till I get back home...lets do this! And once I set my mind to that, I have seen soooooooooooo much of a difference!!! Who cares about life when your on a mission serving God right?! Da best!!!
And its even greater, don't worry, Sister Hamblin and I wanted to win cleanest car and so we were such idiots...she talked me into this...but spent 45 bucks to get it cleaned....seriously?? Are we dumb or what?? DONT WORRY, it rained an hour after it was done...and poured fa dayzzzz...not really, but hours! But we still won! :D And you know what?! We got a certificate and a car smeller....the things us missionaries do...
Also, Sister EDWARDS WAS THERE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Least to say, we still got our comp unity going on, since we were comps for 4 1/2 months.....we wore the same shirt...same outfit.....really?????????????
To End that day, we had dinner with the Becks!!! I think that was the longest journal entry in my entire mission. No worries, he's got the greatest library in the world!!!!!!!!! Its fine, he has one of the first 500 copies of the BOM, Joseph Smiths gold watch, and other things which I wont mention! And I held them all :') He has the best conversion story ever! I don't care who doesn't like him or whatever,, but his testimony is so strong. I wont even write it cuz its too long...but he use to absolutely hate Mormons...and his heart was changed. Its possible! Even those who we don't think has a chance at changing their lives, there is always hope. Glen Beck is proof of that! :) I love missionary work! DONT GIVE UP ON ANYONE!!!!!!!
The Medfords are doing great! Well..we had a lesson with them on Monday and it went awesome, and we talked about the word of wisdom aand he has a couple problems but theyre the small ones....he committed to live it but this weekend Debbie text us and said we wouldn't be meeting with them cuz hes feeling pressured... sad :( they didn't come to church but Debbie text us again last night and said we could meet with them next Sunday. So were excited about that!
Kayla got her ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But she wont tell us!! >:/ She told us shed tell her in the future....in later years...MY GOSH!!!!!!! Were finding out this week!!!!!!!!! Its going to happen....hopefully :p
So a couple things. First off, we learned how to hypnotize a chicken....yep were pretty cool! Its AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! And you know your in Texas when you see someone at church wear a jean skirt with cowboys and horses, with boots. Just sayin' welcome to Texas :p
We also made dinner with the Frandsens this week, Lasagna -totally made it with them and everything- and it was soooooooo fun!!!!!!! They are awesome! We also brought out the scriptures and we read Isaiah 53:3-7 and it hit bro Frandsen so hard....it was awesome!! The Spirit was so strong and he felt it. It was silent. AH! He's getting closer to coming back, I just know it! I love the power the scriptures have. JUST READ THEM gosh darn it!! THey are so awesome!!!!! I love them, the gospel, being on a mission, and everything inside and out.
