Happy Birthday Kris!!! :)
So this week has been SUPER exciting!!! First off, I had Briskut (idk how to spell) and ribs and another meat...idk what it was...but ya. Thought you all would just LOVEEE to know! I didnt like it. Sorry. Poor cow :( haha just kidding.
This week the Fort Worth AND Dallas mission were privileged to meet and hear from Elder Anderson from the 12 and Callister from the 70. TALK ABOUT AMAZING!!!!! Ohhh....I havent washed my hand that shook theres yet. Jk. But seriously, AMAZING!!! I just wish I could tell you alll about it but that would take dayyss. Aint no body got time fo dat! :p So he focused a lot about how we go through different stages of life and right now we're in a life. Now is the time to prepare for our next life (which is like in a year and a half) and how we're learning the way to live. He couldnt have said it better. I just cant see how people DONT go on missions. Its where we find out who we really are. And I give props to people who have had a good life without a mission. It's where we come closer to our Heavenly Father and its sad to think that we have to go 1 1/2 - 2 years to get that strong relationship. He loves us so much and has given us everything. Yet we take that for grantit. AND!! He also talked about conference and how were hearing from a prophet of God. GOD is speaking to us then. WHY WOULD WE EVERRRRRR SLEEEP THROUGH THAT??????? Doesnt make a bit of sense!! Take time studying the gospel. It can solve ANY problem you ever have. ANY PROBLEM! I hope that sticks. Its just amazing!
But I wont forget this, I SAW GRANDON RAY AND SPENCER POWELL(idk who all knows him) I WAS SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! Made. my. week! SOO FUn!!!!
We also had the most AMAZING baptism EVER!!! Sesly is absolutely amazing. I wish everyone in the world was like her. Her parents yelled at her and were totally against her baptism but she knew that she loved God and that it was right and has a smile on her face every step of the way. It took 3 times to get her baptized cuz the font was leaking but she after she got out and said to us "it took 3 times but it was AWSOME!! I thought I was happy before but now its indescribable" THIS is why im on a mission. I just love it! :) It just makes me love the gospel even more. It brings happinesss. No matter what!
