Mission scripture

"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever." Alma 26:12

Hello Fam Bam and friends,
Wow this week has flown by!!! I cant believe that in four days I will be in Texas!!! :O Ahhh!! SO EXCITING!!
Everyone of the girls have had homesickness but me..awkward..but they're finally doing better. As long as we focus on the work, nothing else is present in our mind:) I rarely ever think of home unless I talk about it...I'm pretty good at this stuff;) Guess what??? I gained 3 POUNDS!!! But I lost it...I work out now, so proud of myself;) So on wednesday all the new missionaries arrived and it was weird to think that was us last week...its embarrassing! It's weird cuz I feel like way older than them...but they're like all older than me haha so for fun, one of my sisters, Sister Vave, and I put on our dork dot(what we get on our first day so everyone knows we're new) and everyone was welcoming us. We felt so special;)
Anyways, our work is progressing. Our investigator, Simon, was being a little stubborn butt and it was getting really hard to teach him cuz he wasnt going anywhere..he wouldn't pray with us, he didn't have a testimony on God, didnt know who he was praying to, and we were getting frustrated!! Everyone else in our district was getting progress and have even gotten a couple baptism commitments. BUT we finally broke the ice of our dear sweet Simon! >:D He was FINALLY able to experience on his own and we are SOO EXCITED!! "wooohh...already a baptism" (Best Two Years) okay so not really...but we hope to get the commitment before we leave :) It's so hard but its so worth it. I never want to leave...ever!!! My teacher's are awesome as ever, they help us soooo much and they've taught us well to rely on the spirit and pray ALOT!! I think I've prayed more times in the last week then I have my entire life..sad. But true! You should look at me now, you wouldnt recognize me, I look like a new person! Fat and new;) hehe just kidding!! I'm so shiny bright with the Spirit. Woop Woop! I've also have come to inherit a nickname from my dear Sister Vave, bless her heart..the name is House Wife...don't ask, I wonder myself. But now I call them my children, and clean after them.
Not really...the elders are so awesome in our district! We each received a blessing from them and they were able to use their power to bless us for the first time. They felt special;) nooooo....we did! On P-days we are able to go to the temple and go through a session. It was amazing to go through and them pray for the missionaries...oh wait, THATS US!! I've been taking soooo much pictures!! I'm afraid my card will be filled before I leave the MTC...thats in 4 days!! Eeekk :D There's so many people here and all so friendly, its like we know them! I see Larissa occasionally but still no picture with her. Yet! BUT it will happen!!! It's like a reunion every time we see each other. I love it, but its sad that I wont see her for 18  months after Monday. Oh so I forgot, on my way to the MTC, there was this elder, Elder Crandall, who sat by me and he's from Mesa!! So we were arguing on what was better, Gilbert or Mesa...its pretty obvious who won;) and THEN we find out that he's going to Dallas, TX...so now we have this ongoing rivalry! It's so fun! We've become good friends now! And no, I'm not marrying him. I got to see my friend Chole Nielsen, she arrived wednesday and I saw her yesterday(thursday). All the tongans are related to each other, its so weird! Sister Vave is always like 'are you tongan?' I started asking people if they're american/white, it's pretty fun! It's so cold here though, it snowed the morning we got here and has been cold ever since! Of course everyone here's from Utah or Idaho so they think I'm retarded. But oh well. It's weird to think that in a few days I will be out in the world again. Brother Belliston said that when he went to Walmart for the first time out of the MTC he was freaking out like he wasnt supposed to be there haha I guess that's what happens when you live 24/7 in the spirit with all mormons then going out to where theres very little. But I'm excited for the challenge. Satin better be preparing for us;)
Well my flight will be leaving 8:15 Utah time and.......drum roll...'dun, dun, dun'... I will be calling you mom and dad!!!! At the airport so be up and ready!
P.S. thanks for all the letters, I love seeing all my district get letters and nothing for me! :) exquisite! Actually Sister Christensen, my friend Zach's mom sent me cookies..and Larissa has written me. But dont you know it takes 5 minutes to get on Dearelder.com and you can write me for free, they give it to me that same day in letter form??? good gosh!! I feel so loved, my siblings! Got to go but I'll try sending pictures...let me try figuring it out. Love you all :D

Quote of the week:(Brother Belliston thought it was quote of the year..)
Brother Belliston "why do we need church?"
Elder Eldridge "There cant be a restored church if there's no church!!"
